Saving MORE Money at Target

This morning, I had to run into Target to grab a few quick items before heading to the doctor.
For months, cashiers have been asking me for the Target credit card and I would say NO!
I NEVER use credit~ However, today, I was asked if I wanted to save 5% off my purchase by using the Target Debit Card.

Heads up that when you are shopping at Target that you can use a Target Debit Card to save 5% on your purchases every time. This card is tied to your checking account and works just like using your debit card, but SAVES YOU MONEY!

UPDATE: Where have I Been?? How is the Little Bitsy??

UPDATE: We followed up with our primary care doctor this morning for Josie.
She does indeed have strep, which we are told is not that common for her age~ She is on antibiotics and will be rechecked in 10 days. The doctor did confirm that based off of my observance and description of her activity that she more than likely did have a seizure last night.
Sometimes when a fever gets to high, this can be a related event due to the high fever. It is definitely something that we will continue to watch! Thank you for praying!




Good morning! I would like to appologize for the delay in postings for the last several hours.
For those of you that have not been following me for long, here is an update.
Two weeks ago, my husband started fighting an illness that we are still on the road to recovery for. Please read about that HERE.
Any thoughts and prayers you can send our way would be greatly appreciated!

In addition, last night, I had went to the grocery store for a few items.
When I got home, I found out that my youngest, pictured above was running a high fever and having flu like symptoms. I was home no more than 3 minutes before calling 911.
Josie, our 11 month old daughter was very dusky in color and every time would try to talk to her, she would roll her eyes back. Immediately, I knew something was not right.

To make a long story short, they took her by ambulance to our local hospital. She has strep which as you know my husband has had as well. They think that there is also the possibility that she had a seizure. This morning, we will follow up with our primary care doctor. It was a very long night in the emergency room, but I am so thankful that I did what was right and called for help. Seeing your daughter in the back of an ambulance is one of the scariest things I have EVER been through.

Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers! I will keep you posted as we find out more information. For those of you coming to my coupon class tonight, we are STILL HAVING IT, and I am looking forward to it :)

I have to say that I was surprised that they are now going to limit the number of items that you can get with coupons. For example, you will only be able to get 4 of each item with 4 coupons.

As many of you know, our family lives in North Alabama where so many devastating tornadoes took place nearly a month ago. That night, I spent hours searching in the dark for extra batteries, flashlights, a battery radio, and even a way to charge my cell phone with no power! High Risk for more Tornadoes: Stay Safe with Weather Call

Since the April 27th tornado outbreak here in Alabama, we have gained a ton of new fans!
Therefore, I thought that it was critical to share this post with you!
With another recent deadly tornado in Joplin, Missouri this past Sunday, weather awareness is even more CRITICAL! For those of you that don't know, my husband, is a local Meteorologist While he is out of work recovering from severe illness, he still finds it necessary to glance at the weather from time to time~
Today is a day of concern for many fans throughout the Mid Mississippi, Ohio, and TN Valleys.
(MO, IL, IN, KY, TN, AR)
These states are under a HIGH RISK for severe weather today with the threat of several destructive tornadoes. Some of the activity has already begun near the Kansas City area and more explosive activity is likely through the afternoon and evening hours. The severe weather will then likely continue into the overnight hours for much of the OH and TN valleys adding to the danger~
The BEST way to stay safe is through EARLY and ACCURATE/PRECISE notification.
For this reason, my family relies on, and my husband strongly endorses the Weather Call service. Weather Call is a phone/text service that will alert you ONLY when a warning is issued for your specific registered location! When you use a weather radio, or hear tornado sirens, these are issued on a county wide basis, while the individual National Weather service is an outlined specific area and is NO LONGER based on the entire county!
How many times have you had your weather radio go off or sirens just to find out that you are not in the path of the storm?
Several media outlets offer the Weather Call service for a price of $9.95 per year, which is still a STEAL that could save your LIFE!
