PUBLIX ITALIAN DAYS TRIP
Well, some of you will be shocked, but I have to say that I am LOVING Publix and Kroger will not see me for a few weeks! I have always been a fantastic shopper at Kroger normally saving 95% or more! But, I was ready for a challenge and am taking on Publix!
This morning, I finished up with the Italian Days sale!
Above you will see everything that I got. For those that might not be able to see everything, here is a list:
20 Cans of Green Giant Vegetables
20 Cans of Progresso Soup
20 Cans of Hunts tomatoes
4 jars of Classico Pasta Sauce
6 cans of Manwich
2 Italian Breads
1 Bakery Bread loaf
1 package of Peperidge Farm Hamburger Buns
24 packages of Uncle Bens Ready Rice (flavored and plain)
6 boxes of Advil
2 boxes of Bayer Asprin
3 boxes of Childrens Advil
1 Large container of Similac Formula

During my trip, I used Publix coupons, Target Coupons, and Manufac. Coupons. I only spent $24.02

Dollar General, CVS and Rite Aid: February 28th

This morning, the baby and I ventured out to try and use some last minute February coupons!

At Walgreens, we had no LUCK getting the Motrin deal. But, we have all week to do that.

Here is how we did at the other stores:

CVS: we had tried to do the Gillette Razor deal, but they were out. So, we got a rain check. But, we did score on the Bounce Dryer bar deal. We bought two of them on sale. They were on sale for $3.99 each and I had (2) $2.50 off coupons. Now, I will submit the $5 rebate that I had mentioned earlier in the week! So, they will be paying me to buy these!

Rite Aid: tried to get the Nivea Lip Balm deal, but they were out. We will try again later this week. I was able to look through clearance though.. They had the Breathe Right strips for $1.42, and I had a $2.50 off coupon. So, that was a money maker. Then, the Delsym, was on clearance for $3, I had a $2 off coupon. Plus, there ended up being a $2 Up Rewards on it. Awesome!!!!!!!

Dollar General: purchased a canvas pencil bag for my restaurant coupons and mall/store coupons. Then, got 2 packs of Kotex and a package of Tide Stain Release!

ALL TOGETHER, I spent $4.59 Out of Pocket

I also received $10 in Up Rewards from Rite Aid

Thrifty Target Trip: February 25th

I had a few minutes to spend before picking the kids up at school. So, I decided to stroll through Target with my coupon binder! I really only went in for the Target Up Wipe Deal and the dish washer tablets. But, this is what I came out with!

6 bottles of Febreeze fabric spray

3 WishBone Salad Spritzers

2 Kens Salad Dressings

7 bottles of Wish Bone dressing

1 bottle Opti Free Contact solution

1 pastel colored rug for the twins bathroom

2 Boxes of Target Pain Reliver

2 Containers Target Clean up wipes

3 boxes Celestial Tea

6 spray cans of Febreeze room spray

After using a few Target coupons and Manufacturer Coupons, guess what I spent? My total for EVERYTHING was $6.21

With severe weather season right around the corner, I can't tell you how much Weather Call has impacted our family! Before moving to the South, severe weather was always concerning. However, since moving here, not having an basement to go to in times of need has made us more cautious! Since having Weather Call, I can go to bed at night knowing that I don't have to be worried.
Just last week, we had severe storms and I was awoken by the weather radio and tornado sirens. But, I did not have to take cover or wake the kids as I have that much faith in Weather Call. This system will only alert you when your address is specifically affected in the storm.
