MEGA Kroger Trip: Saved 99%
MEGA KROGER TRIP:
Total Before Savings/Coupons/Catalinas: $638.87

WHERE DO I START??????
I was prepared to have a great shopping trip to Kroger this week as I had spent many many hour working on my coupons/deals for the week. HOWEVER, I KNEW that I WAS IN TROUBLE when I went down the Health and BEAUTY isle to find LOTS of items on CLOSEOUT prices! I spent over and hour in this isle pulling coupons and making deals that I had not planned on doing during this trip. But, I am more than PLEASED with my progress and how things turned out....
As you can see in the picture above, I had quite a large receipt. You know it was a HUGE purchase and LONG receipt when the grocery bagger asked the check out guy if he wanted to jump rope with my receipt!
Here are some of the best deals of the trip:
* 22 boxes of Colgate: they were on sale for $.88 cents and I had $1 in coupons, so they were a money maker!
* Old Spice Shower Gel: closeout price of $2.06, had a $2 off coupon and when you bought one, you got a FREE deodorant! WOW! I was able to get 12 sets of this deal!!!!
* The Pillsbury Deals were also AMAZING!!! They had biscuits, crescent rolls, and cinnamon rolls for $1 each. I had $.50 cent coupons which doubled to $1 off, so those were FREE!
* Irish Spring Bar Soap: CLOSEOUT price of $.88 cents. I had a $.50 cent coupon that doubled so these were also a money maker!
* DOVE mens bar soap: CLOSEOUT price of $1.88 and I had $2 off making these money makers
* DOVE shower gel: CLOSEOUT prices of $2.09 and having $2 off coupons
In addition to lots and lots of coupons being used, PLEASE take into account that I had over $50 in Catalina's from previous purchases to use as well as gained $30 in Catalina's on future purchases! If you have NOT loaded your KROGER card lately, be sure to do that as just in electronic coupons, I SAVED $187.00
