As many of you know, we are very blessed to have three children .Our twins, Addie and Alex are celebrating their 4th birthday today! Its so hard to believe that just 4 years ago today I was sitting in the hospital where I had been for nearly 3 weeks on bed rest.
Last night, my husband, Dale and I talked about the emergency c-section day and who was present, etc. As sick as I was before, during and after delivery, its hard to not be able to recall the event. One of the only things that I can remember is the doctor walking in saying, its BIRTHDAY! My blood pressure had gotten too high and at 32 weeks, our twins were born~
Addie spent 5 weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Alex spent 6 weeks. Today while my the kids spend the day at home with daddy baking cookies, I will be working at our local Neonatal Intensive care unit as the NICU family support specialist. Its such an amazing feeling to be able to spend time with families that are where we were just 4 years ago today! For those of you that have not heard, I am working part time with our local hospital to bring NICU family support to many families throughout the Tennessee Valley. While my husband and I will continue to bring you the latest deals & greatest steals, this is a HUGE way for us to give back for everything that we have received and MORE....

Awww Happy Birthday to your babies! I have had 2 babies in NICU the youngest just 3 months ago. My oldest son was in NICU for 2 months but my youngest only had to 2 weeks thankfully. It's a long road and what you are doing is awesome.
