Dozen Eggs: ONLY $.49 each

For those of you with an Aldi near by, I understand now why so many people LOVE that store!
Growing up we had an Aldi, but never really shopped there much. Today, we took the kids there to grab a few things, and I have mixed feelings about the store. First, if you LOVE to SAVE BIG on Milk or Eggs, this is your STORE! You can grab a gallon of Milk for $1.99 or a dozen eggs for ONLY $.49~ That is an awesome price.
However, here are a few other points that I noticed:
  • Make sure that you take CASH as they don't accept most debit or credit or check
  • Take your own bags
  • Make sure to have a quarter for cart usage (you will get this back once returned)
  • Be careful with pricing. If you are used to SAVING BIG with coupons, some of their prices for off name will sound high to you.
  • I was shocked at how much items such as bread and cereal had gone up. To me, it was cheaper to get these at my local grocery store with coupons.
