While at Target today picking up my OLAY deals. I cruised through the clearance section to find an amazing deal on the energy smart GE light bulbs. My Target has clearanced the 7-pack of 13 watt=60 watt regular bulbs to $4.98. This is a great deal! Now, I have found..... The $1/1 GE Energy Smart, Energy Star Qualified Light Bulb coupons IE (or FF HERE) have been RESET! That is great news because Target has clearanced many of their lightbulb single packages to below $2 each and multipacks to below $5 each! You can now get free or really cheap bulbs when you use both the $1 printable manufacturer coupon with the $2/1 Target coupon from the 1/10/10 SmartSource insert! Target has more great deals coming this week. Stay tuned!!!!

There will be only one insert in the newspaper this Sunday -- Red Plum. Take a sneak peek at what you might find included, you can take a look right here. While this might be a bummer for those of you just starting to coupon, it is a relief for me! I have so many coupons right now and can't wait to organize them this week in my new birthday gift, the COUPON CLUTCH! Coupon clipping and saving money is not an recent skill of mine. However, learning the short cuts and coupon terminology is becoming more familiar. I have always wondered how people save so much money when shopping at Walgreens. This afternoon, I spent time learning about the Register Rewards program. As you can see from the picture above, I did quite well....

This week, Walgreens has the Men's Dove Body wash for $5.99. However, when you turn around and purchase one, you get a $6 register rewards to use on your next purchase. You cannot use it on the same item or the same item in a new transaction! In addition, If you use this $1 off 1 coupon you’ll pay only $4.99 out of pocket and still get a $5.99 Register Reward, meaning you’ll make a dollar off this deal!

The diapers/pull ups were on sale this week for $8.99 a pack. Plus, you could use manufacturers and internet coupons to lower the price, which I did. Then, I turned around and used the $6 Register Rewards from the soaps. The diaper transactions, printed out $3 register rewards too....

When all is said and done without being too confusing, I alternated transactions. I was using the $6 rewards on the diapers and the $ rewards on the soap.

When all is said and done, I came home with

* 8 Men's Dove Body Wash

* 3 packages of Huggies Diapers

* 7 packages of Pull Ups

Total Before Register Rewards and Coupons would have been: $147.00 plus tax

After register rewards and coupons and a lot of patience.....

Here is my total: $ 32.71
